Betty Jo Platt

My name is Betty Jo Platt and I have lived in the Kansas City area all but a few years of my life. I grew up in Liberty and graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. I enjoyed a career in private practice for over 15 years.. I left the dental field because I needed a job that offered more flexibility so that I could be there for my family. Shortly after leaving dentistry is when I discovered health insurance sales, which allowed me to set my own hours but still work with people. Working in the health insurance field led me to Medicare and a new career. I still work with under 65 and groups but Medicare is what I most enjoy most. I travel the entire Kansas City metro area and beyond if needed. I am licensed in both Missouri and Kansas and work with United Healthcare, Humana, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna, SilverScript, Wellcare, and more. I look forward to meeting you and helping with your Medicare needs.
